Rich is an Access GE Commercial Excellence Leader for GE Capital Americas. The Access GE team shares GE’s best practices and industry insights with our clients via one-on-one engagements, events, webinars and through the Access GE Portal. Rich provides technical expertise and commercial operations guidance to Access GE Commercial Growth Leaders and GECA sales leaders.
A 25 year GE veteran, Rich has held diverse roles of increasing responsibility in the Finance, Six Sigma and Commercial Operations organizations. With experience in both GE’s industrial and Financial Service businesses, his background includes more than 10 years of experience in developing world-class Commercial operations and sales teams.
His deep domain expertise in commercial operations and sales processes are a result of real world experience. Rich has held business unit roles as Commercial Quality Leader, Manager - Commercial Analytics and Sales Force Effectiveness Leader. In these roles, he was responsible for managing and implementing a broad array of Commercial Excellence initiatives including lead generation, prospecting and conversion; sales team hiring, assessing and training; sales rep deployment; sales compensation; account prioritization and account coverage efforts; digital marketing; commercial activation; Salesforce.com (CRM) leadership and commercial analytics and reporting.
His background also includes using GE’s proprietary Change Acceleration Process (CAP) tools and techniques to implement change across teams and organizations.
Rich is a graduate of Indiana University where he earned his B.S. in Accounting. He is a certified public accountant, a graduate of GE’s FMP and EFLP programs and a certified GE Master Black Belt.
