Mike LaChapelle is an Access GE Team Leader, leading a team of Customer Growth Leaders who support Sponsor Finance, Healthcare Financial Services, GE Equity, and Bank Loan Group clients.
In 2006, Mike joined GE Capital as a Vice President and Customer Growth Leader with Access GE. In this role, he helped Retail Lending and Private Equity clients to improve their profitability and drive growth for GE Capital.
Mike took a role as a Master Black Belt in GE Energy’s Quality Training Group in 2001, with responsibility for training Black Belts and Master Black Belts worldwide. In 2004, Mike moved to GE Healthcare to become a Practice Leader for the Performance Solutions consulting business, managing a team of consultants who helped hospitals to drive quality and organizational change initiatives.
In 1994-1995, Mike served as a Customer Productivity Leader for GE Plastics Pacific, based in Singapore. Upon returning to the U.S., Mike was in the first wave of Six Sigma Black Belts at GE. In 1997, he was named Operations Manager for Custom Compounding at GE Plastics in Selkirk, NY. In 1999, he was named Operations Manager for Heat Cured Elastomers at GE Silicones in Waterford, NY.
Mike joined GE Plastics in 1985 and worked as an Application Development Engineer, Field Marketing Specialist, and Customer Productivity Leader in Pittsfield, MA, Selkirk, NY, Minneapolis, MN, and Southfield, MI.
He graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1983. Mike worked as a Development Engineer for United Technologies-Carrier in Syracuse, NY.
