Mark Cleland is the Access GE Customer Growth Leader for GE Capital Canada. The Access GE team shares GE’s best practices and industry insights with our clients via one-on-one engagements, events, webinars and through the Access GE Portal.
In 2010 Mark returned to GE Lighting in a Channel Sales role for the Toronto market. He was responsible for growing sales through our End User and Distributor network, especially focusing on emerging Light Emitting Diode (LED) products. Mark worked with a team of dedicated Retail vertical focused sales reps to bring energy efficient solutions to GE’s customers.
In 2009, Mark was promoted to a commercial Account Management position within GE Industrial, specializing in Electrical Distribution product sales within the Toronto market.
In 2007 Mark accepted a role as a Black Belt within GE Consumer & Industrial. He was responsible for process improvement initiatives centered around the commercial Electrical Distribution business in Canada and led numerous Lean Six Sigma projects to improve controllership and commercial simplification.
Mark joined GE in 2004 as part of GE’s Technical Leadership Program. He completed rotational assignments in strategic sourcing, machine design, and process engineering at GE Lightings Oakville Lamp Plant.
Mark graduated from McMaster University with a Bach. Engineering and Management. He specialized in Mechanical Engineering, while combining a Commerce degree.
