Howard Mikytuck

Howard Mikytuck is the Access GE Team Leader for Operation and Commercial Excellence for GE Capital Americas.  As the Team Leader for Operations and Commercial Excellence, Howard leads a team  of professionals  to deliver one-on-one engagements, events, webinars and best practices that deliver significant tenable improvements for our clients.  Howard’s team  supports the various divisions of GE Capital America with some overseas responsibilities.
 
Howard started his career  in manufacturing working for such world renowned companies as Malcolm Baldrige winning Texas Instruments (TI), and Asea Brown Boveri (ABB).  Howard was one of the first Black Belts in the US and an early adopter of Toyota Production System lean methods, where he used these unique skills to quickly advance to increasing levels of responsibilities from Engineer to Vice President in these organizations.  His manufacturing experience culminated with the turn-around of Boston Whaler as the General Manager.
 
Then in 1997, Howard joined GE as a Six Sigma Quality Analyst for GE Financial Assurance (AKA Genworth). Howard successfully applied data  driven change management to successfully complete  over 30 projects, saving over $20MM and helped certify several colleagues in Six Sigma.   Howard received the Everest Award for outstanding contribution to GE prior to joining GE Capital in 2002. Since joining GE Capital, Howard’s 
teams strive to teach  our GE tools and methods to our clients while differentiating GE Capital from our competitors and proving every-day “We are builders, not Bankers.”
 
Howard received his B.S. degree  in Industrial Engineering from the University of South Florida, an MBA with honors from the University of Dallas, and is all-but-dissertation for a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Central Florida.  Howard is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt , received his PE license, Certified Lean, GE certified Change Management and DDI Certified Team facilitator.
