Meet Ellen O'Connor

Ellen O’Connor is the Access GE Customer Programs Leader for GE Capital, Americas. In this role, she is responsible for creating and managing global customer programs, a critical part of GE’s value proposition that offers customers the ability to connect to GE through leaders and outside experts on topics relevant to their everyday business.
Prior to this role, Ellen was the Marketing Communications Leader for GE’s Enterprise Client Group responsible for driving the GE brand through development and execution of an integrated marketing plan, including direct mail pieces, strategic customer events, tradeshows, advertising and press releases. She was also responsible for all executive, organization and crisis communications.
Ellen joined GE in 2002 as a member of the Leadership Development Program (LDP), a two year program focused around marketing and commercial development. After leaving LDP, she joined GE Capital’s Corporate Leading as a Marketing Communications Specialist responsible for customer events, tradeshows and internal organizational communications.
She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned her B.A. in English Language and Literature.
