Tony LaBoa

Tony LaBoa is the Access GE – Lean Leader for GE Capital Americas. As the Lean Leader for Access GE, he focuses on sharing GE’s best practices and operational tools, like Lean, Six Sigma, and Energy Sustainability,  through one-on-one engagements, events, and webinars.
 
Tony is a 17 year veteran at GE with experience in both the Industrial (GE Aviation) and Capital sides of the company.  A certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Master Black Belt, his background includes leading and coaching organizations worldwide in Lean & Six Sigma techniques to improve operational effectiveness.
 
Tony has been the Access GE Lean Leader since 2008.  He has worked with a broad array of GE Capital customers ranging from restaurants to airlines, service and manufacturing organizations, and helps them transform their business processes into world-class operations.
  
Prior to joining Access GE, Tony spent 13 years in positions of increasing responsibilities within GE Aviation and GE Capital.  All of these roles were focused on operational excellence and process improvement at GE.   This extensive process improvement experience is a key enabler to Tony’s success at passing along knowledge to customers.
 
Prior to joining GE, Tony gained process engineering and manufacturing leadership experience with an electrical component company (AVX Corporation), and operations leadership experience as a submarine officer in the United States Navy.
 
Tony LaBoa holds a BS – Aerospace Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Tony has two children and enjoys running (marathon # 11 this fall), hiking, and skiing.
