Alonzo Ford is Access GE, Customer Growth Leader for GE Capital Americas. The Access GE team shares GE’s best practices and industry insights with our clients via one-on-one engagements, events, webinars and through the Access GE Portal.
In 2010, Alonzo was promoted to the National Sales Leader for GE Capital Commercial Distribution Finance in the SMB Technology & Appliance industry. In this role he was responsible for hiring, coaching, driving sales volume, sales force effectiveness and go-to market strategies for a $1B portfolio.
Prior to that, he worked in the same business as Strategic Sales Manager, aligning the sales force, calling resellers and driving business in strategic initiatives.
In prior roles at GE, Alonzo held several roles in GE Commercial Real Estate Finance as project manager, underwriter, financial planning analyst, asset manager, and in sales originations. He worked on over $1B of real estate deals and helped GE Real Estate close $120MM of joint venture equity investments, including deals featured in the Wall Street Journal.
Prior to GE, he served in the U.S. Army as a Cavalry Officer in successive leadership roles including combat in Iraq in 2003.
Alonzo earned his BS from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and his MBA from Emory University. He is active on the board for an Atlanta based Personal Care Home for Elderly and Disabled, and for Operation Hope focused on financial empowerment in economically underserved communities.
